In response to news of the death of legendary South African jazz musician, Hugh Masekela on 23 January 2018, we decided to create a tribute piece for Universal Music. The idea was simple - to transform the sadness of the traditional Last Post into something joyful, just like Bra Hugh always did.

The music was recorded at Rob Roy Music Studios with Adam Howard playing a Flugelhorn that was gifted to him by Hugh.

The piece won a silver Cannes Lion, a Loerie and a Creative Circle Ad of the Month award.
